Swim Lessons!

Hi! My name is Steffen and I will be offering summer swim lessons at all the local pools for all ages and experience levels. This is my third summer offering swim lessons and my rates are more affordable than the local swim schools while offering lessons of the same, if not higher, quality.

Related work experiences include being a swim instructor at Potomac Swim School for 3 years, volunteering as a coach for 3 years with the Broadlands Piranhas, 12 years of swimming for the Piranhas, 12 years of competitive swimming on year-round teams, and 4 years on the BWHS Varsity Boys swim team. I am an upcoming, fourth-year student at UVA and play on the water-polo team there.

I charge $30 for a 30-minute, private lesson or $20 per individual for a 30-minute group lesson. You can view my availability through my online calendar at the following link:

There seems to be a bit of confusion regarding my online availability calendar found at: https://docs.google.com/a/virginia....YW50RXlUYTFpSkNWYVZKREE&usp=sheets_web#gid=17

I am available at ANY time on a day which is highlighted in green EXCEPT for the times marked down in red. I am unavailable on a day highlighted in red and prefer to keep my Saturdays free. I only need 5 minutes in between lessons if they are at the same pool and typically need 15 minutes to travel from one pool to another.

You can choose to schedule lessons in advance or schedule them week by week. However, time slots are taken up on a first come, first serve basis. To view my availability for other months you can switch through months by clicking on the month you wish to view on the bottom left corner on PC or at the top of the page if viewing from a mobile device.

Heads up, I am not limited to teach at the pools shown on the calendar. I can also come to your private pool or go to a different community if you or a friend wish to schedule a lesson there. So far I have taught at every pool in the Broadlands and extended my services out to Loudoun Valley Estates, Ashburn Farm, and Willowsford.

 

Steffen is currently teaching my 2 kids and doing a wonderful job! They have the beginner basics down and he is really helping them work on their strokes. My kids really like him too. I highly recommend him!

I would highly recommend Steffen! He was very professional and great with our kids. I really like that we get the quality of a Potomac Swim School class but in a private session. We've only had one session so far but I am very happy with the way both my kids sessions went. They really got a lot of out of their half hour.
