Thank you Nick's Corner Grill- RANT.

Great! We were there again Friday night - great service - good food. We keep going back thinking the place will let us down but our expectations have always been exceeded.

 

Any updated opinions on this place? Was thinking of taking the rugrats tomorrow since it's a kids eat free night.

 

My wife have gone a few times in the past 2 months. We've had a few times where the service was excellent and the food we good, we've had one time that the service was lousy but the food was good, and one time where the service was just ok and the food was decent. So probably

2 excellent experiences, 1 decent experience, and one kinda crappy experience.

The crappy experience was a middle of the week day. The excellent experiences were on the weekend.

 

We've been there a couple of times...both times it was sort of busy, but service was great and the food was DELICIOUS! Would highly recommend it. The ambiance is nice and just good food for the price, we think!

 

We have also been a few times and the food is good. Service has been fine to very good. If you expecting 5 star dining at a place called Nick's Corner Grill then your expectations are a little high. I put it on par with other decent bar/restaurant combos and I do like that they have live entertainment, though I haven't visited on one of those nights yet. I definitely like it much better than Blue Ridge Grill next to the theater.

But, these are my opinions, and they are subject to change, but not challenge since they are just my opinions!

 

Village Grill also has live bands on Fridays and Saturdays. I was so underwhelmed by Nicks I have yet to return... but glad others are having a good experience there. I'll stick with my BuzzTime trivia and crab dip at Vill Grill...
