Does anyone know how I can contact the owner? The manager just won't do at this point! Thanks!

The owner is there most nights, his name is Osama, he is a great guy and really tries to fix any issues you have.

Just curious. But what is the issue/concern?

If you are serious upset over something, just don't give them your business anymore.

i like that people share good AND bad experiences in here- no reason not to imho... what if it's rat poop in the food? i'd want him to do more than not go there- I'd want to know so I don't have to find out about feces fries on my own! :)

DISCLAIMER- THERE IS NOT RAT POOP IN THEIR FOOD, IT'S JUST AN EXAMPLE OF INFO I WOULD WANT SHARED... :)

That is why I am "curious", to know if there is a reason to avoid TOS.

Well, there was no rat poop that I'm aware of! :) It was just horrid customer service while attempting to place a take out order. The person taking the order didn't even know what a porterhouse was. She (along with the manager) couldn't control their laughter for several minutes. Maybe it wasn't the manager? Other then that, we typically like it there! I just felt it was worthy of letting the owner know. I'll try to get a hold of Osama. Thanks for the info.

i HATE when employees don't realize that THEY represent a business and help us form opinions of that establishment. call me old school but even when i worked at mickey d's i always represented myself as a professional drive thru Queen.... :)

Dined at the Steakhouse this afternoon for the first time since the ownership change. The prices are a lot higher ($6 for a beer???? c'mon!), don't really like the menu options, and the burgers are better at Foster's. The mushroom swiss burger I had was $9 and didn't come with a drink, of course. Not a fan of the shoestring french fries, either -- just too wimpy.

On the positive side, it's still a great place to watch football with the giant screens (which was reason we went in the first place) and service was quite good. I admit I'm generally bitter about the experience because my team is getting killed today  , but that's my last trip to the Steakhouse until ownership changes again.

I have always wondered why the owner donated over $5,000 to the Steve Snow campaign.

afgm- was the donation before or after the owner won the townhouse from van metre? Interesting...either way, it sounds like a conspiracy!

I am not sure, I forgot about that twist. Someone should look into. We already know of Mr. Snow's covert relationships with Van Metre, to include that they share the resources of Mr. Maestros. Mr. Maestros works for Van Metre as a PR professional and also works as a communications director for Mr. Snow's campaign.

AFGM, I say this kindly. With the plethora of election threads currently ongoing please restrict your hijacking to only 2-3 threads a day please! :)

GOD, I will be glad when this election is over!

Suggestion accepted T8erman. As you know it is very hard to nail down Barbara, and shrapnel ends up everywhere. :)

Not sure if you all remember this from another thread, but Osama, the owner of the Steakhouse, did not win the house, it was his younger brother.

Kind of funny though how some of those charges are on dates that have not yet occurred as they are in the year 2008?????

    msflynn:

The dates are hearing dates, not offense dates. I believe that a future date has been set to review his file and figure out if the suspended jail time needs to be imposed.

And how many of us have never had traffic violations?

So he is a bad driver. Ther are alot of bad driver that never get caught.

IMO, not a real big deal, and no reason to label a person as you did.
