I don't think it would take much to improve the smoking situation at OSH. Just continue the walls up to the ceiling and put some doors at the three entrances to the bar.

I saw that the jewelry store closed two doors down. I know that the OSH was looking to expand. Hmmm...

It appears, on the surface (and the owner may want to chime in here), that the new owner may have a different vision for the OSH than the prior owner. Before, it was very family friendly and the bar area seemed to be more of an afterthought.

I think the new management, with the menu change (taking all the healthy stuff off), the increase in price and decrease in quality, are really focusing on the "bar crowd". They probably provide more bang for the buck than the family crowd. I have been a total of one time since the change in ownership with no intention of returning, so I may be off base.

But I do go to that shopping center frequently and it is interesting to see that the patrons of the OSH have changed from when I used to go there.

    Just my two cents.

I got home today and there was a gleeful, gloating message on my cell phone........Lee pointed out the Japanese Steakhouse IS going into the large empty building.

Lee was actually right about something? Did he also ramble on about the Iraq War, flex buildings and say hahahahaha over and over again?

Who in their right mind would give Lee their cell phone number?! ha ha. Just kidding, Lee, but not really :shakehead:

Actually Cliff has been brave enough to hang out at my house with a few of my other friends, although he has not meet my real close pals yet. His only complaint is I never have a beer for him when he comes over, luckily the last time one of my other pals went and got him a couple of beers. Tonight I might actually drink a couple when I face this tough crowd. Dog if you were a true brave soul and want to meet a few of us really cool people you might come over to Bonefish tonight so we can see what you are really like ha ha ha ha ha Does anyone want to take a bet on what the odds would be for The Dog to show up:)
I even will show up with my newly chipped front tooth which will not even be fixed until tomorrow. :) That is how tough I am :) ha ha ha

i agree that the atmosphere has changed- and the food quality, while still decent- is not what it once WAS. we still go now and then for sports, but it IS more bar than family these days. which is FINE- it's nice to escape from the kids now and then. now if we could get rid of the smoke.... :)

Much better in my opinion. If it is owned and run by the same folks as the one in Chantilly (Kmart shopping center), then I plan on being there at least once a month.
