And if he blew by at 85 MPH, how could you possibly watch him blow through two to three stop signs unless you were keeping pace with him for an awful long time?
There are only two stop signs on Claiborne. One at Ridgeway and the other at Croson. After that, Claiborne dead-ends.

So, if this alleged driver was doing 85mph on Claiborne and 'blew by you', what 2-3 stop signs did he/she blow by? How were you able to see this if you were not speeding yourself? I don't know of any stop signs that are close enough on Claiborne for you to have witnessed this, especially at the speeds you indicated. There is too much distance between them.

So which stop signs did he/she blow through?

Had a motorcycle do more then that past me on claiborne on saturday morning at about 6:30am... right there in front of the old model home row in southernwalk.

If I would have moved over without looking that far back as I was just about to.. that guy would have been toast.

Blue and white leathers on a blue bike. You got lucky...

I've lived here 12 years and have never expeienced all these terrible things that keep happening. Maybe I'm not looking for them.

Step 2 would be actually reading the rules of how to negotiate a 4-way stop.

I am pretty sure that hauling a$$ behind the car that just proceeded thru the intersection is not one of those rules.

See.,..and some people never believe me.

Its pretty easy to get up to a high speed on Claiborne (and some people DO run stop signs.) There are ways of telling how fast a person is going....all ya gotta do is talk to a friend that is a cop and he'll explain how they pace drivers with their eyeballs as well as time. Its not all that hard.

But he ended his narrative in a plausible fashion.

He did NOT witness the motorcyclist proceed down Claiborne, onto the Greenway, run the toll, flip off an Airport officer on his way to a biker bar in Fairfax (because that is where I assume all bikers go) all while maintaining a speed easily over 85 mph. ;)

AAAARRRGGHHHHH!!! So do moving companies around this area make SO MUCH MONEY, and HAVE SO MUCH BUSINESS that they can BLOW OFF appointments for estimates, ONLY do estimates from 9-5pm Monday - Friday, (meaning I HAVE TO TAKE OFF WORK, AND THEN THEY DON'T SHOW OR CANCEL AT THE LAST MINUTE!!!) Whatever happened to just common courtesy and consideration of OTHER PEOPLE'S TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking for a moving company for a local Broadlands to Broadlands move. Single family home to single family home. We don't have much left in the house since we "staged" to sell and have been packing our own boxes. I just need a company to hold the items for a couple days since we close on both houses on a Monday and will be packed up on Saturday. (delivery on Tuesday). It's just furniture and boxes. HELP!! Oh, and SOMEONE WHO WILL SHOW UP FOR AN ESTIMATE!!!
