Did World Gym go out of business at that location? They just opened up not too long ago.

 

They were bought by a couple who are transforming it into the new Wow! Work Out World. Were you a member at World Gym?

 

No I wasn't. Just was curious.

what are your membership rates like (ballpark is fine)?

 

I work out at my office - but I'll tell other people I know about the new gym.

 

My wife and I are happy members there. We joined this summer. I went from someone who has NEVER been in a gym to one who is there 4-5 times a week. There's lots of good classes that keep you energized and motivated.

We've joined Anytime Fitness in the new section over at Safeway. The rates are very competitive and you can go literally "Anytime." We've been going 3-4 times a week since they opened on Oct 1, and we've never had to wait for equipment.

They're not as big as some other fitness areas, but being able to go anytime you want (really, 3am! go ahead) is kinda nice. My hubby works shift work for about half the year, and this way he doesn't have to worry if they'll be "open" when he wants to go.

Actually, World and Wow! are two different companies. Wow! does have a new member special going on right now. Call Sarah at 571-283-1255 for details.

 

Just to clarify, World Gym is no longer in existence at the Red Rum Drive location. All of their programs and discounts have been revamped by the new owners of the new WOW! Work Out World. At this time there is no "Broadlands Discount". There is a new member discount for the first 100 members. Call Sarah (that's me), Membership Counselor at 571-283-1255 and I will set you up with a tour of the facility and a free workout!

 

I think we're payIng $84 a month for the two of us...

Much better than the 90 or so a month we were paying for Golds...and this is SO much closer.
