ThermoPly vs. OSB for Exterior Sheathing

    what does thermoply look like vs osb? Sorry..I'm new to this stuff.

    thermo ply is basically foil-covered cardboard (~1/8 inch?). Oriented Strand Board is woodchips glued together into plywood (~1/4 inch?) you can probably put your fist through thermoply. wouldn't try it with OSB unless you've been taking karate.
