yes, there are plenty of places that i don't love- i simply never post about them- i rarely post negative reviews. i tell management if i have a problem with them. i think word of mouth is very powerful, and just b/c i had a bad experience doesn't mean a place is awful- they could have had a bad day. posting here is a limited part of my life- i don't write about every single experience i have.

if it's bad regularly or dangerous, sure, i would let my neighbors know. i'm sure i have done that in the past too. but i prefer to spread the good news!

sorry if you think it comes across as dishonest- it's really just being positive. if a restaurant exists in ashburn and i haven't posted about it, i a) haven't been there, b) didn't enjoy it or c) have no opinion worth sharing either way.

hope my integrity is intact... :)

Great Reply! Doug is a very hands-on manager/owner (maybe you've seen him standing on the side of the road with a sign). He wants to earn your business and referrals. He and his managers will do whatever they can to correct the situation, if it's not right the first time.
I wish more people would use your judgment when making these kind of reviews/posts.

I'll be back at Village Grill in the fall for the Cowboys games for sure. Maybe sooner but definitely then.

P.S. Offer up some chicken fried steak at $10 or under and my hubby will be happy to give it a try.
