We own a home built by Washington Homes in 2000. Was wondering if anyone new the make of the windows installed in these homes. We live in the North Section of Broadlands on Vestals.

    Thanks

There is a sticker on our windows if you tilt them in... i bet it's just a generic brand, whatever they could find the cheapest =)

Thank you. Not a sticker to be found on any window in this house.

Try HomeKim. I think that's who was doing the windows for Washington Homes at that time. I live in the Overland Park and that is who did the windows there. I bet you have the same ones that I do.

We went to Home-Kim but they said they aren't made anymore. Please respond back if you find them somewhere - we have quite a few that are broken and I hate to buy new windows just because one of the latches doesn't work.

In the thread I posted above, fsparker wrote that found a company that sells them for half of what Home-Kim was charging. I just checked them out and here's the info:

    www.swisco.com (neat website)

    Left latch number is 26-243
    Right latch number is 26-244

    $2.65 each.

These are so cheaply made, we are seriously thinking of replacing our them. Cold are comes in along the edges and the locks don't close properly on many of them.
