Storing under the deck is a great idea, wondering if they would rust that way?

We've kept a snowblower under ours (covered) 5 years+ no issues or rust. The only thing we do is run out the gas before storing.

I use a blue tarp from Harbor Freight.. simple and effective. Being outside the thing is going to be worse off than inside.. but it's a yard tool. Just try to run the gas out before end of the season, keep the thing covered, and never leave clippings in your catcher. Always empty it.

    Thank you Flynibus :)

How many years have you kept your mower under your deck?

This mower is a hand-me-down from a friendly neighbor. I've kept it under the deck for the last 2+ seasons. I just focus on keeping it dry by covering it so standing water doesn't rust the deck.
