Toll increase Bad

One thing to conside ris that the Greenway exists by the blessing of government. A private corporation just can't plop down a private highway of that magnitude w/o Gov getting involved. I wonder how much public domain land was given in easements for it?

Also have you ever tried to get to Ox road from here w/o going on Waxpool or Belmont Ridge? You can't do it! The toll road cut the county in half and in effect monopolizes transportation in Eastern Loudoun. And if you did use Belmont ridge it is so convoluted that Waxpool would have been faster. The roads in this country are so screwed up b/c transportation planning does not exist. We're still dealing with a farm county mentality here and unfortunately we're stuck with the crappy road system we have.
