Does anyone know why someone chopped down several trees in the Butterfly Park adjacent to the community pool?

I always thought that it looked nice to have a somewhat "wild wetlands" in an area that has been so heavily affected by construction.

We noticed that yesterday also. My 6-year old proclaimed the tree-choppers to be very mean people.

Were the trees sad and feeling guilty because they were the only ones left in Broadlands? Perhaps they took their own lives.

Even if they were dead they should have been left as habitat features.

I have no idea where "Butterfly Park" is.

However - I think it's sad that the construction of the observation platform in the moors caused that wonderfully creepy tree to fall over :(

That tree was felled before they started the platform.
