Triple Coupons 02/05/09 to 02/08/09 at Harris Teeter

Fellow Foodies--

From some forums that I post on, it was reported that Harris Teeter is offering TRIPLE COUPONS ON 02/05/09, THURSDAY TO 02/08/09, SUNDAY. Looks like some great deals and savings--!

Even though we produce alot of food and meats, etc. on our farm, I still shop at HT for their sales. Don't forget to use Competitors coupons, etc.--read my past money-saving posts about coupon combining. HT doesn't Price Match--but they will accept drugstore coupons--Walgreens, CVS, and other store coupons, etc. Just read HCW (Hot Coupon World's) info on their forum.

HT makes it clear in their ads that for BOGO free offers, you can purchase one item and it will ring at half-price.

Do you know what the policy is at the other local grocery stores? Bloom, Safeway, Giant, etc.

It's become apparent to my wife that HT often doesn't have items they list on sale....especially meats or seafood. This has happened numerous times.

 

According to my friend, who is a coupon queen, you only have to buy one item at Bloom but two at Giant.

 

We've had this happen to us also, and when you talk to management they give you a 'rain check'. They write a coupon for the item not available but give you the sale price so you can buy it later on.

 

Have you asked the butcher if they have any more? I did that once when I wanted some ground beef. They no longer had the stuff that was on sale, but she gave me some of the organic (and more expensive stuff) for the sale price.

No, I am sorry I don't shop at those stores. However, just look online at their stores' websites or check out Hot Coupon World's thread under "Grocery Stores...".
