we never had a bad meal at Tuskies. I often send families there. No bad reviews.

Tuskies is good eatin. A bit fancy and we only go there on special occasions. I think it is way better than Lightfoot.

We went for a Mother's Day Brunch that was to die for at Tuskies! I am sure that you won't be disappointed for Thanksgiving. Lansdown also has a wonderful buffet. It is quite expensive though! Although I'm sure Tuskies won't be cheap either.

My family has been going to Tuskies for about 12 years and we love it there. While we can't go as often as we'd like, we save up and head to Leesburg about once a month. The food is excellent and the service is incredible - ask for Stacey by the way.

Last time we were there, we talked to Stacey about a great appetizer on the menu about ten years ago. Stacey spoke with the asst. mgr, came back and said he remembered it - Blue Corn Duck Crepes. She said to give Tuskies/the asst. mgr a call a couple of days before we return and they'd have it ready for us.

I know there are folks on these boards that prefer to go elsewhere but we really enjoy it there. While we were there last Christmas Eve, we haven't yet had Thanksgiving dinner at Tuskies. I would imagine it's pretty darn good.

In years past I have ordered the Turkey-To-Go from Lansdowne. The portions are for 10 people and the food is good. I did a search for it the other day though, and the price has gone over $200. I guess it depends on how much your time is worth. In the past I did not pay $200 - maybe $125-$150ish. I hate to cook so this worked for me.

Mimi's Cafe has a nice carry out T-day dinner that is about $80. We are giving that a try this year. Looks yummy!

We are doing the WS Willie brid this year, and the apple brine, using the turkey base...thought we'd try it out since so many people give it 5 stars! We've done Butterball, Shady Brook Farms, and driven a long way to a farm in MD for a recently deceased turkey - wow talk about lines!
