Update On New Whole Foods In Fairfax

    For all you organic foodies--

    The Grand Opening of Whole Foods in Fairfax (beside the Dick's Sporting Goods store at Fair Oaks Mall area) will officially open on January 17, 2007. The 66,000 square foot store will house several restaurants, coffee and sushi bars, and have an upstairs cafe.

    Recently in Gwinnett County, GA (where we are originally resided), Whole Foods opened a fantastic store with their NEW concept. Great place--Organic version of Wegmans. We recently (back in mid-September) visited their new store and it was great! I do consulting work for the regional Whole Foods stores regarding nutrition and consumer education and was recently told of their new opening date for Fairfax areas. Apparently, WF wishes to put a large store (like Fairfax) in Loudoun within two to five years near Russell Branch Pkwy (I believe that is the road) near Belmont Ridge Road areas.
