Verizon.net email - check your passwords

We had set up some verizon.net email addresses for advertising spam, and were unable to get into them.

The email accounts now also had security questions (as we found when we tried to reset the passwords). I don't think they had that when they were set up as I had notes on all of this. Verizon assured me they always had security questions.

Long story short - set aside some time if you need these verizon.net email addresses for anything. It took us over an hour to get them "usable" again.

They are no longer allowing NEW verizon.net webmail addresses to be created (we were told). This may be related to the AOL thing (i.e. "AOL mail for Verizon Customers").

Other notes that may be useful if you need to do this:

At one point, for one of the addresses only they had to MAIL the temp code to us. Except when we got transferred to the next operator they reset that one no problem...
