Verizons 3G wireless broadband is here?

    From what I hear Verizons EVDO trial has been pretty good but the Nextel option based on Flarion's technology is better (lower latency and higher bandwidth). But Nextel isn't offering it in NoVA yet. I didn't think Verizons EVDO came this far west for the DC area. Last I checked it stopped at about rt28. That said I may still give EVDO a try when Verizon comes out with the LG VX8000 phone next year. Right now none of their phones support it and you need to buy the PCMCIA card along with a 1 year service.
