    Ladies and Gent,

Holiday season is finally here again. We could not think of a better way to say thank you for all the support from the Broadland community and the neighboring areas in the past few months since we took over the salon. Victoria Nails and Spa would like you all to pick a local club, organization, or charity and we will do the following:

For each customer come in and get the service at our salon in the month of December, we will match $1 for each customer count on our sign in sheet at the front desk. A check will be made out to the organization of your pick in Jan. after we have tally up all the customer count for the previous month. Please make sure you signed in when you visit our salon.

What we will need your help is to give us some pointers/ideas of which organization to support. We are new in the community so any help would be appreciated. Please reply to this post and we will tally up the count for all the suggestions. The one with the highest suggestion will get the fund. If we don't receive any suggesting by the end of Dec 10th then the fund will go to the local High School.

So, feel good while pampering yourselves this holiday season.

    Let's make this happen together,

    Victoria Nails & Spa management

PS: I wasn't sure which forum to post this in but decided to post it here so we can have more exposure to the reader. Mod, please move it to the appropriate forum if you see fit.

    Thanks,
    John

I would like to suggest Briar Woods High School's Project Graduation. This is a worth while event, the celebration of their very first graduating class.Instead of taking a chance at seniors partying somewhere else and maybe drinking and driving, they have an all-night party at the school, chaperoned by parents and staff. This event is planned by most NoVa high schools, including Broad Run and Stone Bridge. The incidents of drunk driving on graduation night have decreased significantly.I realize that we have three High Schools in Ashburn, but Briar Woods is the only one starting out, with very little funds and they are trying hard to find sponsors. Please consider Briar Woods.

I just want to add a quick if you have not gone to Victoria's you are indeed missing out. The staff was extremely nice. I got the best and I mean BEST spa pedicure I have ever had. It included way more than you get elsewhere and Van was outstanding at her work. I intend to frequent often and even take my little princess to boot. :cheerleader:

I second Briar Woods HS. Anytime we can support an event like an all night dance that incourages students to stay in one place means less trouble out on the road. Supporting our children is an excellent way to support the community as a whole.

Briar Woods Project Graduation would be perfect. I will definitely have to stop by and get my nails done.

We have 3 for 3 for Briar woods Project Graduation so far. Unless some other suggestion comes in, look like Briar Woods might be the one. Great idea! Thanks everyone for all the feed back so far.

    Hberg,

Thank you for your recommendation and we are glad to hear that you had a pleasant time at our salon.

    Thanks,
    John

If Briar Woods gets the vote, please earmark it for PTSO, going to Project Grad.Otherwise the school itself will get the money, not necessarily Project Grad. You can PM me and I will provide you with the contact info.I am also planning on encouraging residents in Brambleton to go to the salon to support us.I am looking forward to getting a pedicure:)

    hberg and ladies--

I ventured into Victoria's Nail Spa today. Van did my spa pedicure and Tracey did my spa manicure. Both were excellent and appreciated for their kindness. I called to make an appointment yesterday and was informed that they opened at 10 am. I asked if anyone came in at 9 am since I would be out that way today. Van easily accommodated me; and I was happy with the services.

I explained that I had recently had my set of twins three weeks ago, and I was wondering if they were open early sometimes. John and his staff accommodated me for my time; I did not leave till noon. Great environment to relax in and have your own "oasis".

John, thank you for your kindness and for allowing me to relax today. I will return in the future during regular business hours.

Just wondering where Victoria's is located. It's my wife's birthday today and I wanted to get her a gift certificate for a pedicure. She also wants a haircut. Does Victoria's do that as well???

    Hi,

I don't know where you are comming from but if you start from Clairbone parkway by the Broadlands Center(where safeway is) heading south toward Waxpool, turn right on Waxpool for about 1/4 of a mile then you will see a Sunoco gas station on your right. We are right in that little strip mall with all the doctor offices on the sesond level. We are on the lower level next to the dry cleaner. Please call us at 703-729-8869 for more detail.

Sorry, we only do nails, and body waxing.

    Thanks,
    John

I just wanted to commend you guys on a good experience. My wife went and got a pedicure and manicure yesterday, as it was her birthday gift from me, after a long day of teaching at Eagle Ridge. She couldn't stop telling me about all the great things your employees did for her. She loved it and will definately be back in the future. I appreciate the fact your employees treated her extra special, as she is 8 months pregnant. She managed to bring a couple of her friends with her when she started talking about getting the manicure and pedicure that day. You have made one new customer, in my wife, very grateful.
