Took a stroll through the NV model home and was shocked at the pitch: for $740's now you can get a very nice home on a big 1/2 acre or bigger lot! Wow! Things are BAD.

And more house to heat, and cool, and repair and furnish...blah, blah, blah. But you don't have to deal with neighbors if you don't want to.

First you'd have to sell your house here (which can be a challenge right now), then move to a neighborhood with no amenities and the real possibility of Belmont Ridge Road being enlarged to 6 lanes into your backyard.

Speaking of that neighborhood, I thought I noticed in one of the recent newsletters mention of adding Village of Waxpool to be part of Broadlands. I think it was mentioned in the minutes of one of the board meetings. Anyone know anything about that?

If I recall correctly, I don't think that was "Village of Waxpool" but rather, "Waxpool Village" which is an area of a few streets (Sidney Pl., Poole Ct.), by the unpaved area of Waxpool Rd.

That is correct kahlua - it is the small development right by the schools. And as far as I know we gave them the items that they would have to do/pay for and havent heard back.

Ah, my mistake. The names are so different, I don't know how I did that.

Actually, friends of ours just moved into Villages of Waxpool, and they've been given pool rights at Broadlands' pools. The catch- they have to pay something close to $400 for the summer.
