Warning to all owners

Sunday morning my Ashburn Farm Subway was held up at gun point. Every one is safe, but the robber has not been caught. This is the time of year when people need money. Go over all safety measures with your employees and keep your eyes open.

That's terrible Vince. Thanks for sharing... glad everyone is physically ok. I'm sure you have some shaken-up employees who never expected this in our neck of the woods.

 

More of a reason to stock a nice desert eagle .44 under the counter. Nothing saids Christmas more than wonderful red colors splattered on the sidewalk. Ashburn is a haven for crime, that's why I keep my pistols loaded and ready all the time.

 

Kinda tough to grab a rifle-sized pistol when you already have a handgun sticking in your face.

 

this place reminds me of my little hometown in Nebraska where kids had to prove they were bad a$*)@* by committing petty crimes. saying you are from Bellevue, NE doesn't exactly get the street cred that Compton did, ya know? so they acted all tough when they are really just minor punks.

weapons add a new dimension however- first the stabbing, now this. sorry it happen to you Vince- I hope the police realize how much more of a prescence we need here.

Exactly, that's why you cooperate and when the fool is making his exit, BLAHWWWW, he'll see whats left of his heart slingshot by him. If your a bad shot though, make sure you unload a couple more slugs in the perp. because he'll prob. sue you if he recovers from his injuries. Justice served and his family will have a nice closed casket funeral.

 

No, I was an Air Force brat - my dad got transferred to another SAC base in northern Maine where I went to High School. They were building a new high school when I left - I think it was Bellevue West?? I had lots of black friends, but I don't remember any Ward's. A few things I remember from Bellevue - Shakey's Pizza, Southroads Mall, the Roller Rink (every weekend!), corn fields, College Worlds Series at Rosenblatt Stadium, cold winters with lots of snow, hot summers, Drive-in Theater (I can't remember if this was technically in Bellevue, but it was near).
