    Technology Management Associates (TMA) is seeking Entry and Senior-Level Java Developers in the Chantilly, VA area. The Java Developer will participate in all aspects of lifecycle application development including design, code, test, debug, and configuration management for Java applications. The successful candidate will work with variety of Java technologies. Candidates are required to have a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph to begin work on the contract.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Solid Java and/or JavaScript programming skills
    • Knowledge of relational database fundamentals
    • BS in Computer Science
    • Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph
    • Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work in a dynamic team environment developing solutions from both written and spoken requirements

    Desired Qualifications and Experience:
    • 5+ years of JavaScript and Web Development
    • 5+ years of Java experience
    • Experience with Cloud Computing Services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Experience with front end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, D3.js, Ext JS, Dojo, Bootstrap, Knockout JS, Express.js, Node.js
    • Proficient understanding of JavaScript, CSS, and Web development, especially HTML5
    • Proficient understanding of Java EE/J2EE concepts
    • Proficient understanding of SOA concepts
    • Experience developing event-driven JavaScript thin-clients
    • Experience with Java development tools such as Eclipse, Maven
    • Experience with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) technologies such as Hibernate, Java Persistence API (JPA), iBatis
    • Experience with Java Message Service (JMS) providers such as Apache ActiveMQ, Apache Qpid, HornetQ
    • Experience with front end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, D3.js, Sencha Ext JS, Dojo, Bootstrap, Knockout JS
    • Experience with Java to XML binding technologies such as JAXB, XMLBeans, JiBX
    • Experience with continuous integration technologies such as Jenkins or Bamboo
    • Development experience with the Cesium WebGL mapping framework
    • Agile development process
    • Strong background in math and science
    • Understanding of geospatial concepts
