What's up with Wynridge Dr?

Wynridge in front of Harris Teeter has been completed since sometime last fall but remains blocked off. Any status on when it will open or what the delay is?

 

It will be blocked until my kids can learn to ride their bikes without training wheels. Not sure how long it will take but until the wheels come off and they can ride in a straight line I will need the use of the entire road. Thanks for your understanding. :notfunny:

 

I know that the delay is VDOT, but not sure why or when it will open.

 

Does anybody know why Wynridge has not opened up for traffic?

 

I heard that VDOT fired the guys who move the barriers and cannot get anyone else to move the barriers.

Maybe a few of neighborhood punks could go and move the barriers off the road.

 

I sent VDOT an email querry. They replied it is not in their hands. I asked who is repsonsible but have not recieved a reply yet.
