Are you trying to tell me people pushed you to get to a table? If that is in fact true, then I would have to agree they were obviously rude. But that's not how you explained it before. Let's say they didn't for arguements sake. OK..... a family of 5 comes in followed by a family of four a few groups of three all stand around waiting in the food prep area that would mean 15 or more people might be waiting for their food for , you say, 10 minutes or more all the while there are more people entering the line. That to me is a the wrong way to do things. It makes no sense....sorry.

Why in the world did they decide to put a tiny Wendy's in the fastest growing area in the country? They could have easily built a large one with an adequate parking lot on those two pad sites and it would have still made more than enough money to pay for the land.

drrotax: I didn't say they pushed, and they didn't. However, the only logical conclusion to draw from what you suggest is that if two families come in at more or less the same time, you had better be prepared to go for it and if that means you (appear to) cut in front of people - but not aggressively, I suppose that's okay? As long as you don't make it too obvious? No victory dance for example? :)

I'm perhaps overstating things here, but you appear to want to make this all very subjective. The simplest and fairest way is for people just to wait their turn and then sit down isn't it? If one trusts that there will be a seat available by the time you have your food, there probably will. If everyone insists on 'seat first, food later' it stands to reason that in busy places like this Wendy's looks like it will be, there never will be any free seats....

I come from a land where queuing is regarded as the national pastime, and I certainly don't advocate that to anyone, but just a smidgen less of "I've got mine" would go a long way sometimes. I notice from other posts that people complain regularly about cars not stopping at stop signs or dog owners not living up to their responsibilities, and don;t get me started about the race track known as the Greenway in the mornings.... All of these behaviours appear to be related to my (untrained) eye.

My wife and I adore this area, and cannot foresee any circumstances that could drag us away; I just can't understand why some people get so upset about not being served NOW, or not being allowed to drive through the junction NOW. We have SO much here, to wait for a minute or two now and then would give us the chance to reflect on that and see how lucky we are.

Like I said, I'm probably just getting old.

Ohhhh my kids went over to wendy's this evening for the first time and ended up at subway. All they could say is what is the attraction to this wendy's??? it was so packed it looked like mob mentality was about to set in. ha ha ha

They should have read these forums before checking it out for the first time.:D

Personally I haven't been yet and by the looks of it the few times I have driven by, it would be quicker to go over to the one by the cascades :D Dad4 I would say your son is also getting quite an education in human behavior working there and more power to him. :)

Here's a quick little story, on what he's learning. 2 weekends ago a guy came through the drive thru, ordered his food, paid, and picked up. Moments later he came into the restaurant and said that his order was screwed up, and that he was missing a burger. They asked for his receipt, but he said that he left it in the car. Being busy they gave it to him. This past weekend the same guy did the same thing. This time the manager recognized him, and insisted on seeing his receipt. He said he left it in the car. The manager insisted that he go and get it, and he agreed. Guess what. He never came back in. What's that tell ya:(
