Just wondering what happened with the rabbits since I’ve haven’t seeing them for awhile, or squirrels either. Would be so horrible if they’re were poisoned by the HOA . :angryfire:

I've seen fewer in my neighborhood too, but I doubt they have been poisoned. We have dogs running loose in our neighborhood, as well as fox and stray cats so that could explain why you don't see them. Also, HLS recently cut back a lot of shrubs throughout the woods which provide coverage for nesting.

Why leap to poisoning by the HOA, especially when Broadlands is a Certified Wildlife Habitat Community?

there are many information on internet about tons of HOA around the country that exterminate bunnies with the justification they are plagues.

I can assure you, the HOA has not done anything to exterminate bunnies.

It's the foxes that have found our bunny supply in the Broadlands.

I guess that explains why I have seen a lot more foxes and far fewer bunnies this year...

When the numbers of fox increase, competition will make their food source scarce and they will leave the area for food, or succumb to illness, mange, or starvation. The rabbit and squirrel numbers will rebound and the cycle will repeat.
