No - they did not destroy my feeder - that was the wind.

Well - they SAID they were Orioles - you can't trust anybody these days.
    Thanks Maureen

Who said? Are the birds trying to pass themselves off as Orioles again so you'll keep feeding them?

Aw, darn. I was hoping to actually see Orioles. I've been hoping to attract some to my yard, but so far, nothing. That said, I love Red-winged blackbirds. I always see them at my feeder. If I'm not mistaken, the bird on the cover of this month's newsletter is a female Red-windged blackbird.

Thanks, Maureen. I've tried the fruit on the metal hangers and the jelly. But I think I'll give the sugar water a try with the orange ribbon. I have my hummingbird feeder on my window and always have the hummingbirds feed off it. They will even eat while we're sitting on our deck, right next to the feeder.
