Especially the math books that kids get in school. My child is in 2nd grade. There is a book in her desk, I want to buy the same book so she can practice at home.
I looked up by the authors name but did not find the same book anywhere online.

I called and left messages to the connected sales people of scott foresman and did not hear back from them.

    Thanks

overlander- If you contact the school they will sometimes give you textbooks to keep at home. They will readily do this if you have an IEP in place for you child. However, even if you don't the school will sometimes provide an extra copy. Also, check online. Sometimes the publishers will put the entire book on the internet so that you can access it from home. Ask the librarians at the school if this is the case.

I've been asking for textbooks for years and despite having an IEP, I've been told the only way they will put it in the IEP is if the child has a physical handicap preventing him or her from carrying the books home.
