I am an absolute burger fanatic!

I wanted to know, who serves the best burgers, in your opinion, in Ashburn?

My favorite in Ashburn might be 5 Guys, even though they serve up those little greasy "griddle" disks. Somehow they are really great and man are they tasty! They make it all work!

My favorite overall burgers are the jobbies that the Palm makes for lunch in Tysons. They used to be about $12 (ouch!) when I worked down there!

Another spot for greasy "flat griddle" burgers is East Potomac GC (Haines Point). Get the double and you will be full!

Fudruckers is coming soon to ashburn. Not sure when it will be opening but it will be near the IHOP.

I really like 5 guys but I actually enjoy the Fosters Grill burgers better. I think 5 guys have better fries though.

I cannot stand well done burgers. Fosters was terrible in my opinion for that reason and no seasoning at all. 5 Guys was better, too much peanut oil there for a family with allergies to peanut. Sonic is tasty but far away. Red Robin's burgers can be really good too. I like Fuddruckers lots but haven't been in a long time. You can pile on the fresh veggies there!

i'm an a nebraskan- bred on beef! burgers should always be medium well in my humble opinion, and i send back anything cooked beyond that. fosters has been PERFECTION on my burgers every time- 5 guys too. fosters meat is of better quality, 5 guys fries are beyond delish-ish! but if we're sticking strictly to beef here in da 'hood, it's fosters, hands down.

I had a burger at Clyde's and it was AWESOME! My husband also tasted it and commented on how good it was. Their turkey burger is tasty, too!

    Not in Ashburn but...

I love Burgers from Hard Times Cafe (One in Herndon). The Chilli Burger is simply awesome. When i worked in Alexandria, the Old Town location had 1/2 priced burger Monday. So on Mondays, you'd get an incredible 1/2 pound Chilli burger and fries for about $3.50! I don't know if the Herndon location has the 1/2 price deal.

This is a really easy answer in my opinion and one that most people probably wouldn't even think of...

Best Burger = Cheesecake Factory (new one near Dulles Town Center). They will cook the burger to your liking.. medium rare works for me! They are juicy, fresh, big, the buns are good and it just tastes great. Shoe-string fries are good too. Finish it off with a raspberry-lemonade and its the bomb.

A close second = Sweet Water makes another good burger that comes the way you want it.

For quick burgers/carry-out = Five guys or Fosters is about a toss-up. If Fudruckers can hold up to their early-day quality it will give them a a run for their money.
