After having various incidents of bad fruit and vegetables, items past there expiration dates at Safeway, my spouse and I visited Giant for the first time in several months. To our surprise, a lot of the fruit there was also past its prime and bad. Then we actually waited in line longer than the time it took us to do our shopping. At that point, my husband turned to me and advised "we need a Gi-Way in the neighborhood," a store that combines the best of both Giant and Safeway!

I vote for a Weg-Way. It's convenient and the food is GREAT!

Yes! we have been shopping Weggies for the past two months. I have not been in S-way or Gt in ages...Everything is a disappointment there.
Weggies has been consistantly good. There fresh meats are exceptional. It is worth the drive. I don't come home
with "just good enough, it'll have to do".
We use Gt and S-way for emergencies only. We shop Weg 1 or 2 times/week.
Never thought I would be a Wegmans person, but I am and quite happy about it :)

definately... I'm suprised that a "gourmet" store like Wegmans beats the "standard" food stores in price. they rock!

I can also vouch for the high quality of using Wegman's catering service too - it's phenomonal!
