Why did they skip my trash?

I put my trash out Sunday night but come Monday night it was still full. Everyone else's trash was taken away so I was curious why they would skip mine. I opted to not use their cans since they were a bit small but mine isn't huge and it didn't have any no-no items in it (paint, rocks, dead bodies). Is there some rule that we have to use their cans?

 

No, you do not have to use their cans. Contact the HOA office with your address so they can report it to New Vision.

I have yet another trash related-question: Isn't New Vision not supposed to make their trash pick up until after 7:00 am. This Monday I got my trash and yard waste out there by 6:50 and they must have been long gone by then. I left it out hoping that there would be another truck (maybe yard waste is picked up separately I thought). But when I got home from work, it was still there.

What is the deal? I know that it is best to get it out the night before, but sometimes I forget. Now I have to wait another week for the yard waste.

 

They are not to start before 7am. If they did, please forward the date and your adress to the HOA office so Wes can follow up with New Vision. Starting early was one of the biggest problems with AAA, although they were often out here at 5:30am.

 

The yard waste is usually the last thing picked up, and usually its done late in the afternoon.

As Cliff said, make sure the HOA knows where you are, and make sure you clarify what was not picked up. At first glance I had thought it was the bin and the yard waste, but then you just mentioned the yard waste.

 

They rolled right by mine this morning for no apparent reason. I have no items in it that are not allowed and I am using the New Vision bin. What's the deal? This is rather annoying.

 

The recycling truck came by 1st this morning at least on our street. And it is hard to tell which truck is which are you sure it was not the recycling one that went past? If you are sure it was the trash one then give Wes a call while the truck are still inthe area today and we can see if there is a particular problem that we are not aware of.

Remeber that 3 trucks will visit you today. One for trash, one for paper recyclables, one for the rest of the recyclables. If by THE END OF THE DAY something has not been picked up, call the HOA office with your address and what was left behind.
