HOA we need a plow to take an attempt at plowing Windy Oaks Sq. We have not been touched yet. We have many people in the medical and fire & rescue fields who need to get out tomorrow. We've shoveled through the evening to be sure our driveways were clear, now it's time for you to do your part and get a plow on our street. All other roads look like they have been plowed, how have we been forgotten, we are the first side street into the neighborhood.

    Please see this thread- http://www.broadlandshoa.org/hoaforum/index.php?threads/blizzard-update.33815/

You can call the snow plow dispatch directly at 571-317-4369 since that's a HOA street.

The HOA office doesn't monitor the forums for this type of need - please see the linked thread for all their prep info on the topic.

Jon the club. I live on a VDOT street. We have a fireman that was called in. He couldn't get in. Near the front of our street, there is a 6 foot wall of snow blocking it. I guess they tried to plow, couldn't do it, then left!

JEHLERT was lucky. at least he got a live person to talk to. I've tried to call, and no one answers. Plus I was advised by Sara G (Broadlands HOA) this afternoon to try to text message the number, and have done that twice. No reply. Sara responded to a message I left asking when Pallan terrace (Intersects Avonworth) would be scheduled for plowing. she said they would be on Avonworth in about a half-hour and we should anticipate being plowed shortly after. They've plowed a lane on Avonworth, and not even attempted Pallan Terrace.

The crews are bringing the loader over to Pallan. A few owners shoveled their driveway snow into the road, making it impossible for a truck to get through without assistance form heavier machinery. They will continue to work through the night to try to clear paths on all of the streets.

Call the number listed above. The big machinery hit our street about two hours ago. Thanks guys!!! Not perfect but somewhat passable which is what we needed. We appreciate your effort!

It works both ways, I have seen snow cleaning crew dump snow from road into clean driveway and clean walkway. See it for your self. I have health issues and paid someone to clean my driveway and walkway, now there is no way I can get out, no idea what will i do now. 20160125_015616.jpg

    Cliff,

Any luck on your street. They have tried twice on our street but both times stopped and left there are four homes that can't get out two of which have elderly relatives with health issues. Even with three snowplowers will still can't make a dent into the 6 foot pile they left.

We had a plow come through around 9:30 last night. Made one pass. The curve was still a problem, so several of us shovelled it out this morning.
