Workout Facility in Broadlands?

    Just wondering, any plans for a workout facility in the Broadlands Community? I have one in my basement but it's not that much fun; therefore, I don't use it as much. I rather go to a facility in my neighborhood to workout and meet new people.

    Just a thought. :)

    The YMCA is trying to get approval and funding to build a facility in Broadlands on Truro Parish near Belmont Ridge Rd. If that doesn't happen, the county has plans to create a recreation center there. I believe it's slated to begin construction in 2006.

    Although there is no workout center, there is a way for you to workout and meet your neighbors!

    I am a personal fitness trainer and new resident to the community. Coming up this fall, I am going to be offering an outdoor fitness (boot) camp program. The details will be advertised soon, however if you are interested you can feel free to email me at gulley1@yahoo.com. It is going to be a fun, yet challenging program that will help get you in shape while having fun with your neighbors. I also do private training (both in my home or yours) and would be happy to talk with anyone about that as well.
    I have experience, references and lots of enthusiasm and motivation to help you reach your goals!!!

    Come join a gym near Broadlands. There's a few near by. I'm a member of World Gym. I like it, reminds me of the gym back at school. Comes out to something like $20/month so it's definitely cheap. Golds is near by. There's a karate dojo that has a gym membership and is located in the same place as Food Lion.

    You could also take workout classes through one of the county programs. I know Fairfax is pretty extensive. Not sure about Loudoun.
