I am a new resident in Broadlands and have a question regarding what to do about fencing my yard. My neighbor has already fenced in their yard with the same style I want to use. Do I tie into his existing fence? Should I offer to split the cost of the portion we will be sharing? Thanks!

If there is no easement between the properties and you can join the fence on your property line definitely offer the neighbor some reimbursement for the cost. The only other tip is that for maintenance you both agree to maintain the joining side(s) and if the neighbor sells try to have that agreement convey to the new people.
