Sorry to ask such a basic question (newbie here), but are yard signs (for candidates) allowed under the HOA's covenants? I have not seen any in the community when we've been out for strolls.

The HOA rules book that we got is in two HUGE volumes, and I have to say that I have not really read them (which is probably a violation of the covenants itself).

I recall reading that yard signs are permitted, within certain dimensions and limited in number. But I don't recall the details, even though I did</u> read all of the HOA covenants a year ago!

Thanks! I'll try to get away with one or two small ones.

I'd actually like to see a few political yard signs in our community! Of all the communities that we have lived in, I think that the B-lands is the least politically involved one.

Political signs are allowed, with a maximum of 3 per lot, and must be removed immediately after the election.
Don't forget the Meet the Candidates forum next Tuesday at 7pm at Eagle Ridge.

Thanks for that info. I had just heard about the Candidates forum and will definitely be there.

On that note, has anyone gotten any polling calls? We just got one from the Patti Morrissey campaign. They were asking about party affiliation (like always one or the other or "depends on candidate") and stances on key issues (not soliciting support). It was a nice change to see a campaign asking about what the people are interested in!

Chris: We got a call from her campaign last night. I think that she is doing some research on social views/values. I wonder if she is focusing her research on the whole county or just our community?
