yard waste recycling

    Does anyone know why the recycling folks are not collecting yard waste?

    We've been putting out our yard waste in the brown bags every week, and it never gets picked up. It ends up sitting out there until trash pick-up on Friday.

    You could put it out early (on Tuesday) because the trash crews will take it if they see it. Of course, mine is always placed out of sight, but I have heard that this happens.

    Lately, the hurricane threw off the collection schedule for yard debris but I'll check with Wes to see if he knows the reason it might be happening outside of the hurricane timeframe.
