Does anyone know how a local business would go about sponsoring a youth football team? If so, please get in touch with Bo@broadlandspub.com.

In the interest of being a community based establishment, Bo has already committed to helping out with both a soccer and hockey team my child is involved with, but he still has a sincere interest to get involved in some other sports as well. I told him I'd look into football, but don't know much about the local football scene. So if you know shoot him an email.

For Football go to www.ayfl.org (Asburn Youth football League)
For Baseball go to www.dulleslittleleague.org (Dulles Little League)

Contact any Board Member listed on the website and I'm sure that they would be happy to help you.

    Hello Everyone,
Thank you for the quick response, I am trying to work out sponsoring multiple teams, in multiple sports.

I do want to sponsor teams in the immeadiate area, or where a team has mainly broadlands community kids playing. So those will get first priority, I hope everyone understands. We do look forward to the success of our sponsored teams, and we'll do want we can to help make that happen.

Thanks again for the interest and I look forward to building a great relationship with the teams and community.

    Awesome request!

I don't think you could go wrong in supporting the Eastern Loudoun Lacrosse league. This league formed last year after a regional split with Western Loudoun Lacrosse. Both leagues supported the move and continue to work together. This sport has doubled every year of the four years we've been involved.

Last year ELL had over 300 kids in it, and expectations of growth are right on track of what has been witnessed over the last four years.

The majority of ELL is from the immediate Ashburn area. Most of the teams practice right in our neighborhoods.

Additionally, Stone Bridge HS just had the good fortune of hiring a strong new Lacrosse coach. He is a four time all american from the University of MD. He's added a lot of excitement amongst the Lacrosse families in the area.

Lacrosse is on a huge growth track for both girls and boys. I don't think you'd go wrong helping this organization out.

By the way, early registration is ending January 15. If your interested in having your kids join check out the website. If you have questions on the sport, please feel free to email me.

That's it for my unsolicted plug.
