[For Sale] Samsung DLP 50" HDTV 1080p - Needs TLC

If you're an electronics tinkerer, you could land a 50" HDTV at a great price!

On Blizzard Day, this TV let out a funny "pop" and then starting making an interesting noise while the picture went kaflooie. We're pretty sure it's the "color wheel" that went belly up.

You can take this [currently] non-working beauty home for $100. Prior to 10am Blizzard Day, this Samsung was working perfectly with a great picture, sound. (Possibly way under priced....)

You can buy a replacement color wheel for about $125-$150 online (not exactly sure which one, haven't pulled out the parts manual).

So, for about $250, you've got a 50" HDTV.

Pretty certain we've got all the owners manuals etc. We got this in November 2005.

Send me Private Message, or call 703-349-1095 if you're interested. You get to haul it away, but it's not very heavy, just big.
