Default Deck resurfacing/sealing

I'd like your help in finding a company to help us with our deck. We need to fix my husband's deck resurfacing project He used a product from Home Depot called "Restore" and it has been a nightmare to work with; now hubby is giving up and wants a professional to fix/finish it (one day we'll learn our lesson and stop trying to do the job of professionals)

My search on the boards only came up with a couple or recommendations (I've left msgs) and I'd like to know if you have used someone recently that you are happy with. Thanks in advance!

I am also looking for recommendations for someone to clean and water seal the deck. Not looking for some dude with a power washer to just spray it to death. Can anyone recommend a vendor to try? (or one to avoid??)

I have used Kris's Painting twice to do my deck, about four years apart. They do excellent work in both power washing and the stain they use is superior but has a very nice reddish color that we think looks really nice.

Hi Redon, we decided to power wash ourselves (okay, okay a family member might have helped ... a lot!) the staining was done by Montoya Painting. They did a great job but they are very busy, at least they were in the beginning of the summer. It was 3 weeks from the time of the estimate till they could start the job. Hope this helps!
