Mailbox Bashing!

My neighbor and I both had our mailboxes bashed last night/early this morning. I called the sheriff's office and they said there were a number of these on Glebe View last night as well.
Anyone see/hear anything?
I'm in Broadlands North on Songbird Ct.

We just had a few more mailboxes destroyed on Glebe View last night.

My wife yelled at a group of kids, she thinks were middle schoolers across from our house and they ran. We had two incidents of "ring and run" two weeks ago, with one having fireworks involved.

I drove around the neighborhood and it looks like they unscrewed two screws of the boxs and hit them off, vs. a Car drive by.

We are hoping now that school has started they will be busier with homework than mailboxs.
