New Chick-fil-A Openings in Ashburn/Leesburg Areas Soon!
Fellow Foodies--
We were at our Chick-fil-A restaurant in Warrenton yesterday and I asked the manager if they were planning any restaurants in Loudoun County in Ashburn and Leesburg, VA areas. She told me that an empty lot near George Washington University in Ashburn is where a new Chick-fil-A restaurant will open on August 2011.  Also, in Leesburg at the Super Target store, a new Chick-fil-A is also planned to open later this year. It will be built at the parking lot in front of Super Target in Leesburg.  So all "y'all" Chick-fil-A lovers will have some place closer to go than Sterling or Dulles Crossing. We enjoy our Chick-fil-A restaurants in Warrenton and Gainesville areas too. No, that is not what Chick-fil-A is planning. Apparently this has been in the works for awhile. The franchise owners who also are owners at Warrenton and Gainesville locations already have plans for the locations I mentioned. Hope that helps-- Foodie

Updates on Chick-fil-A restaurants are that the restaurant will open a new store in October 2011 in front of the Super Target in Leesburg, VA and late August/September or October/November 2011 for Ashburn, VA per the manager at the Dulles Crossing Chick-fil-A restaurant store today.

The one in Ashburn is already well under way...it's directly north of the Loudoun County Parkway / Route 7 interchange.

Hi,
No, Chick-fil-A restaurants are not open on Sundays since its founder/owner is a Christian and does not believe in being open on Sundays. He believed that even if his employees are not of the Christian faith that it would enable them to spend more time with their families and relax; and therefore that is another reason to be closed on Sundays.
