I've also gotten it several times "from the horse's mouth" that they'll be open in 3-4 months.......I've been told that every 4-6 months for the past two plus years.

Well. There once was a portajohn there, so I think it used to be a rest stop.

Now. There's a concrete slab and a curb so I think it may become like a mini Reston Town Center ice rink / place for kids to run around, slip, bump their heads and cry for mommy.

I say they let kids set up lemonaide stands there.

I noticed today that the fence is back up... I guess the owner of the slab foundation was afraid someone would trespass on the property and build a Dunkin' Donuts.

Solves the problem of what to do when Mt. Broadlands is taken down and people wonder where they can play on the ice and get hurt!

County zoning required they clean up the site and fence it off.
