Outreach Programs
Plastic Bag Recycling (ongoing)
Did you know Plastic Bags can’t be recycled with regular recycled products? We have a solution! We have partnered with Trex and their NexTrex program to recycle plastic bags into composite benches. Every 500lbs of plastic bags turns into one bench, which we donate to a local school. Check out nextrex.com for complete details on their process.
Residents can drop off plastic bags at the shed located on the tennis court side of the parking lot near the trash enclosure at the HOA Admin building at 21907 Claiborne Parkway. The shed is accessible 24/7, and you’ll find the plastic bag bin on the right as you enter the shed. Please place all plastics in one clear or white bag before dropping them off. Collection is ongoing and indefinite as long as rules are followed when dropping off your plastic bags.
