New recycling program in Broadlands – seeking input by November 1, 2023
The HOA is seeking community feedback regarding a new recycling initiative for the Broadlands community. The program involves a community drop-off location for hard-to-recycle products in partnership with TerraCycle, a company whose mission is to eliminate the idea of waste. We are proposing to have recycling collection bins for the following recycling streams, but we need to narrow it down to three programs. • Razors
• Air care products
• Beauty products/packaging
• Fabric care packaging

There is no ongoing cost to the HOA to participate in this recycling program. The cost of the program is covered by the corporations that TerraCycle partners with for these three programs. Funds have been allocated by the HOA for collection containers and volunteers will maintain the collection site and ship the collected materials to TerraCycle.
