I agree that fraud or implying some great illegal activity is over the top.

Deceptive, lies, worthless, unethical, etc. are all words that accurately describe it.

If, I REPEAT IF, CCB knew of the innacuracies I would damn near call it fraud considering that approximately a 3rd of the petition is in question.

And let's not forget that the petitions' intent is to sway votes the Supervisors votes.

I posted a long response to this but deleted it. I'm shocked at how easily people let integrity (and lack there of...) slide. Sorry...I live my life by a much higher standard.

The rest I won't say on this board...

The list was not presented by CCoB. It was presented as being from a resident/Inova employee.

if it was by a 'resident' how would a resident supposedly had collected submissions sent not to her but to others?

Because this resident/CCoB/Inova is one and the same.
When the petitions were submitted, the person stated they were a resident and Inova employee. Since Inova funds CCoB, they are all one and the same.

But its a very important distinction that can not be blurred.

If I give my information to the HOA - I am not giving it to you Cliff to do as you please anywhere else. You have access to the information for use within the scope of why and how the information was given to the HOA, and unless the HOA has explictly given you the info for other uses.

If you were to walk up to someone as 'resident Cliff' instead of 'HOA Board Member Cliff' and hand over contract or other sensative information you'd be in serious poo.

So its significant if information were provided to one group and then 'appearing' with another.

People are entitled to operate independantly between roles... but there are boundries to that. Most notably... reuse of 'work' resources or information for your own personal use.

Flynn - you explained what I was thinking.

The issue is said resident had information concerning the Neighborhood watch, Eagle Ridge PTA, BHOA etc and now many of those names are aligned with her CCoB cause.

I think it comes down to ethics, those who operative in multiple roles in an ethical manner rarely are called into question.

Pea, while I totally agree with what you are saying, I *think* what Flynn was insinuating was that say CCoB representatives went out and got signatures for a petition against BRMC. They did so in the context of CCoB as an entity asking for those signatures. Now, an individual (in this case Donna), presents the petitions to the BoS on her behalf, saying that she is a resident and Inova employee. That changes the 'context' of the petition to a certain extent. Maybe folks who signed it were under the impression that CCoB would be presenting this petition and did not want to be 'represented' by Donna, but that it how it could have been presented to the BoS. The signatures were gathered under the guise of one entity, but presented under the guise of another entity. That to me is a little bit misleading to the petitioners, to the BoS and to the residents of the county.

Flynn, please correct me if that was not what you were thinking...

    Mr. Linux:
When you explain it as well as you have, that makes a TON of sense.

Didn't Donna 'step down' as the founder of CCoB earlier this year?

If so, this bodes even more questions as to the methodology of how the signatures were obtained and why the Attorney or PR member of CCoB didnt represent the signatures to the Bos.

I think we can debate the details of it or the 'intent', but the critical concern might get lost in translation.

IMO: Donna Fortier has a long standing and now proven history of less than ethical practices. I love how last spring she threatened me in public with legal action for my calling her out concerning her unethical usage of the NHW list.

Fast forward a few months.. and now we have this petition.

One or twice might be an accident, but Donna's actions are now a proven pattern, with one common issue; calling into question her ethics.

    To Linux and Pea...

The scenario both you describe is the underlying problem.. but I was more speaking to what Cliff said. That Donna presented all these on her own. That makes little sense, given the glaringly obvious gap of how she would have collected all these. So my question is... 'who' presented them to the BoS? Was it the CCoB organization? Was it INOVA? Was it Donna as a county resident?

What 'other roles' Donna has is not the question... but the question is 'what hat was she wearing' when she pulled this stunt.

The reason for the question is, because the answer can open up serious questions to who is sharing what.

Flynn - I am not trying to get in a qouting war with you, you'll alway win;)

    but....
    Donna Fortier

Unclear based on her taped comments
Both, the webcast (I listended to) & several reports state: "as a resident & Inova employee"

So Donna muxed the roles, should it have been mutually exclusive, not sure. It comes down to ethics and Donna has a proven track record of acting in a less than ethical manner.

Lest we forget her past actions such as:
the medical waste pictures, using the BHOA logo, email list for CCoB and having a petition with several dead people on it.

Well I know it was her physically :p that's why I put the who in quotes... who was she representing, herself, or an organization?

the 'resident and INOVA employee' line just sounds like her standard disclaimer, not necessarily who she is representing. The disclaimer thing was a bit of a foreign concept to her and her muddling up its usage wouldn't surprise me :)

But if its taken literally, then it would infer she's acting on behalf of INOVA in her official role.

But since I haven't given her, or any organization my information... its not my war to fight. Playing dirty, lose, and flat out unethtically is nothing new in this story so its really not even worth pursuing to 'expose'

But if I were someone trying to get my voice out there, I'd certainly not trust any information to Donna, CCoB or INOVA. No only will they apparently reuse it and share it with others, you can apparently count on them to devalue your voice by mixing it in with sloppy work and bad theatre.

I think the topic of this thread should be changed to: Donna: she’s responsible for famine, Jimmy Hoffa’s disappearance and Global warming. Despite how hard you try to discredit my name, I have not done anything that was unethical, fraudulent nor have I ever personally attacked anyone. I guess those of you hiding behind anonymity don’t have the strength to stand up for what you believe in. I know that it’s fruitless to try to explain anything that spins out of control by some of you… that is the exact reason so many people in this community don’t post on this forum. The constant personal attacks that are allowed to continue or posts that are erased to remove past personal attacks that have occurred, show your true character. Continue to say what you will, I know, and those that know me, consider the source of these constant allegations and know they aren’t true. Enjoy the Holidays and I hope you can begin the new year less bitter.

Donna - yet you can't clear the air and answer the question. When you presented these stacks to the BoS.. who where you representing?

As for anonymity, who's hiding? Virtually everyone in this thread you either know personally or it is in the wide clear who they are.

The 'I'm a victim' card is old and worn. People are holding you to your actions - actions you haven't been able to defend. The reason you keep coming up into the discussion is because of the comedy of your own actions. The way to stop it is not cry your a victim, its to learn from your mistakes and stop repeating them.

Donna, if you hope to defend your name or your employer, you're going to have to do it by facing the facts. Deflections, pity pleas, and continuation of your lies will not work. Give some straight answers!

But I know why you chose these tactics, it's because you don't have the truth on your side. You have been blasted with sunshine, and it's difficult for you to accept.
