If you want to borrow my dog as a running partner, he is available! He loves to run and will keep you safe:) No one will bother you with Rocky on your leash!
I just think he would really enjoy this, and I thought it might help someone who is hesitant to jog alone anymore...
You must be a neighbor, of course, and I need to make sure he will be safe too.
Early mornings are best. Late nights could work too.

One of our neighbors bought a gun to take on his walks with him.

I hope your neighbor also has a Virginia Resident Concealed Handgun Permit...

Virginia is an open carry state, as long as he is not concealing (without a permit), there is no problem.

I have open carried my handgun around broadlands, on my bike into stores everywhere that we can legally carry I have open carried there. Its a right to open carry and bear arms. It is our right to bear arms and myself and my fiance do it whenever we can and/or available to.

sure, it's a right, but you look like fools walking around Ashburn like that =) You should also consider some belt-fed ammo just for added effect.

I love shooting, but just walking on a lazy sunday carrying heat on your errands is a little much ;)

Why not? I can tell you I haven't carried in months, but if I leave the range and need to go to the grocery store, yes I will wear it inside.

I really don't see a lot of people open carry in Virginia. Either they have conceal permits or there's not many who OC. Of course you swing by the gun range and it's a different story.

BTW, Silver-Eagle in Ashburn is a bit nicer in my opinion than NRA range. Very nice place.
