Yes, it's called, eat your donut whilst standing outside so the crumbs drop to the concrete and the birds can come and enjoy the new feast.

    sorry... couldn't resist

I've been three times in the last two days and they haven't even had glazed donuts! The selection for other donuts has been really lousy too. They've only had 3 or 4 different kinds. I'm not going back for a long while - let them work all the kinks out first.

Been three times and the selection has been great. Was there this morning at about 9. Got 2 glazed, double choc, choc sprinkled and a lemon. For the glazed they had 1.5 full racks. Line was double stacked out the door. In the 10 mins or so in line they replaced something like 4 selections of donuts. I was impressed how fast they were replacing stock. You must have hit unlucky times there.

I think this is just a testament of how busy they've been. I haven't even attempted to make it over there. It's kind of like when Wegman's first opened. I waited a month for the hype to die down, then it was no problem.

Only room for improvement thus far, last night we bought Hand Pack Ice Cream (from Baskin Robbins) and it STINKS!

We bought a pint and it was only 1/2 the wall full. When you spend $5 you expect to get a FULL container - not half. BOOO.HISS

I have to tell you we have an ice cream maker and it far surpasses any ready-made you can buy out there- plus it's fun to do with the kiddies and you can pick all fresh and organic stuff if you want.

i also have a vitamix blender and make ice cream in that sometimes with fruit and veggies and the kids can't even taste the "shots" of spinach i put in.

i have been to DD many times this week (whoops) and what a great excuse to go out for a walk or bike ride! everything has been great and they even gave me a couple of munchkins for free with my iced coffee yesterday!

The glazed donuts are made all day long.........they are very popular and we do have intervals during the day and night when we run out.......we are working on a solution to adjust the production so that this does not happen as frequently...........we do carry a variety of 15 or more donuts however if you are frequenting the store in the late P.M.......after 9:00 P.M.....the variety is less since we do our last baking around 7:00 P.M and close at 11:00 P.M.............my suggestion..........if your coming in later in the evening call ahead earlier ask for the manager and tell them to hold some aside for you.....if you have any trouble with that tell them "JIMMY" told you so......if you still have a problem e-mail me............mij3000@hotmail.com and I will personally take care of it for you.......................Jimmy

probably one of the smoothest 'openings' we've had here in the neighborhood in a long time Jimmy. Congrads on weathering the storm!

We have the Kitchenaid ice-cream maker and it is wonderful. Our little guy has big issues with milk products, so I have to use lactaid milk to make homemade products for him.

But I am on strict bed rest for 2 weeks so I can't do anything other than go to the bathroom. Afer nearly a week of not being able to eat or hold anything down, all I wanted and craved was a handpack pint of ice cream and it was beyond disappointing.

Friday morning---it was like a dream come true. I was there for my 6:45 cup o' joe---and when i got to the counter, the gentleman behind the counter (his name escapes me right now) said "Good morning sir---cream and sugar, right?". That made my week...and since i've been waiting 3 years for this store to open---i may never leave broadlands :)
I got the family some donuts and coffee Saturday morning---it was crazy--but they were great about keeping all the donuts stocked up. For only having been open a week---it's great progress.

    Hey Jimmy-
Maybe it's time to expand into that empty space next to you. Offer soup and sandwiches on the menu, maybe throw in some easy chairs and sofas.

Sorry that you had a disappointing experience.........I would have been disappointed too. We are trainning all new employees many of whom have no prior Fast Food experience. There is a lot to learn, it;s not just pouring a cup of coffee and serving a bagel or croissant. One of the tricky things believe it or not is packing ice cream in a container..........it really has to be compressed or it will melt and shrink. That is why your pint cup was half full.....I have alerted our manager on this......Please stop by at your convenience and ask for Mohamed, my general manager.........or Peter my district manager, they will be in the store until wednesday and they will give you 2 quarts of your favorite varities complimentary . Thank you for bringing this to my attention..........Jimmy

We waitied until Sunday to give them a try. Stopped by after church and was pleased to find a minimal line. Placed our order and they were very nice. Sat down with doughnuts and juice for kids and our coffee to wait for two breakfast sandwiches and a bagel with cc. Called our order and hubby went up, to be handed a bag that was not our order. At the same time the people next to us went up to get their order. She came back to the table and unwrapped it to realize it was not their order. She went up for a minute or two to get the correct meal, but came back opting to eat it instead, because she didn't want to wait in line. While we waited for them to re-cook our meal. Only then did I realize they were eating our order.... Then it clicked as to why my hubby was still up at the counter.
He said it all would have gone much faster if the crowd behind the counter had spent less time arguing and more time just fixing the order. Eventually they handed him a crumpled/smooshed up bag with our order in it. Nice. I think I am really just more perturbed at the people who opted to eat our breakfast instead of wait for their own...I hope they enjoyed it.
