    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew of or could recommend a doggie daycare place? We are putting our house up for sale and even though our little dog is friendly, I know how annoying it can be to look at a house with a barking animal. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Thank you Kaosdad. I called them and they said it is $30 per day. And to call each day during the summer because they get booked with borders.

Dulles Executive Pet Center has a program at $20 day or $18 if you buy a package 5 and I think $16 if you buy a package of 10. They usually always have room and you don't need a reservation.

I take my dog to the PetsHotel in the Reston Petsmart. He absolutely loves it there. They have two options - doggie daycamp, which allows him to play with all the other dogs, or doggie daycare, where he stays in a private room and gets a certain amount of playtime per day. It is a little bit of a drive to get there, but for me it is worth it.

I was told about a place called Dogtopia? It's in Chantilly. That is the wrong direction for me but apparently you can log onto their website and see your doggie with the webcam. I am not sure how much they are or of their different locations...

My dog loves going to Dog Days Playcare in Chantilly. Wonderful family like - they treat the dogs great! It's an indoor play daycare and boarding facility. Most daycare dogs have been there for years!!! We love it. Ask for Joyce the owner.

I visited Dogtopia and was not impressed. The facility is nice (all indoor with walks outside). However the sleeping set up were crates stacked two high. They were separated horizontally depending on size, but it still looked a little like a animal shelter.

The people seemed real nice though. And my impressions were based on one visit only. YMMV
