    Ok. To answer my own question, they do take the Baskin Robbins coupons that come in the Sunday Washington Post.

    Has anyone had issues with Dunkin Donuts since it has been opened? I occasionally take my son there and all three times they didn't have want we went for. One morning they didn't even have donuts!

    I am not a fan of DD any more. The last three times we went either my order was prepared incorrectly or the food was not very good. Of course these are all subjective assessments by me.

    With all the other places in the area offering food in the mornings, I am happy to take my business elsewhere.

    But everyone is different. It really does not matter if other people like or dislike a place. What is important is if YOU like it or dislike it. :)

    This is why I don't put a lot of reliance on restaurant reviews and such. What one may dislike, another may love. :)

    They certainly have some issues to work through. The Baskin-Robbins portion seems to be a challenge for them. The ice cream counter never seems to be refilled so the bins are always empty of nearly empty when we've been there. The other day we bought some ice cream from the cold case. They overcharged us and when we brought it to their attention, they told us that they couldn't correct the overcharge. When my husband explained the concept of bait and switch to them, they seemed to figure out how to fix the problem.

    I've been there many, many times and have never had a single problem with my order, the service, or price charged.

    Further evidence that all of those negative comments were made by sneaky Krispy Kreme employees, who hacked our forum. :scaredeyes:

    I'm generally happy with the place. It's Dunkin Donuts, not Tavern on the Green. That doesn't mean that the food and service should not be good but my expectations aren't the same as for a 5 star restaurant.

    Is it coincidental that one customer consistently encounters problems? If there are complaints with one customer repeatedly then the odds are other customers are experiencing them too. No, Duncan Donuts is not Tavern on the Green but why should one lower their expectations just because it's donuts and not filet mignon. My money comes from one wallet.

    We have been a few times since my last complaint about the cleanliness of the place, and improvements have definitely been made. The DD management deserves kudos for listening to their customers. Tables were cleaned promptly and there wasn't trash lingering about.

    Actually, in my experience if there is one customer that is consistently encountering problems, and no one else is complaining, it is not the establishment but the customer.
