For Sale 2006 VW Jetta TDI (44MPG)

We are selling a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta TDI (Turbo-Diesel) that is in excellent condition. This car regularly gets 42-44 MPG and up to 600 miles on one tank of diesel fuel. The only reason we are selling is because my wife wanted a convertible (another VW).

This car was purchased used from Carmax 02/2007 for $26,600 and that price does include the extended warranty (transferable). We are asking $17,900 or best offer. We have had a sign on the window for 18 hours now and have received 3 calls already.

I'd really like to have the Jetta sold before the end of the month. I'm dropping the price by $500. You won't find this kind of deal at carmax or other used car lots. They would be asking around $19,000 w/o warranty and you'd have to pay tax.

There is no lien on this vehicle and I have the Title. It's ready for delivery. I'm going to put an add on autotrader.com later today.

 

You pay tax regardless of who/where you buy the vehicle.

 

I stand corrected...I forgot about the "3% Motor Vehicle Sales and Use Tax" that you must pay when you title the vehicle.

How about I pay the tax...for Broadlands forum members only I will take off another $500 if you take the car off of my hands this weekend. It's yours for $16,900. I'm still keeping my price of $17,400 everywhere else I have it advertised. I'll even throw in one month of Sirius Satellite Radio for free.

Yes, the car is still available.

What do you mean by high maintenance? Just like any well maintained car we take it in for service every 5,000 miles (synthetic oil). There is no unusual maintenance that this car requires and no repairs of any kind have ever been done, inside or out.
