Fitness classes

    Anyone know good place to take fitness classes without joining a gym, besides Claude Moore Rec Center? Also, Anyone been to or used LA Boxing? How are they on price?

    I looked into them when they first opened and think they were around $40-$50 a month. But that was 2 years ago or so.

    LA Boxing-AWESOME class by Nasir? Nadeem? I got a bundle of classes for my hubby as a gift for I think $10 a class. no membership needed at all. it's hard work but it will definitely help you lose weight if you commit to it.

    No it is not just for men. I have seen plenty of women in there as well. They are very friendly so stop in and ask. I am not sure of their schedules

    Snap Fitness (next to Giant) has a class on Saturday mornings at 9:30 with a trainer. My friend and I are starting this week -- I'll let you know how it goes. You don't have to be a member there to do the class, but then I think the cost is a bit higher if you are not.

    Creative Dance Center fitness classes for Adults, 10 classes for $100, several classes to choose from

    Creative Dance Center has one on Saturday called Zumba. I do it about once a month and a friend of mine teaches the class. It's a lot of fun.

    It's $7 to walk in and take the class and they do offer pricing for multiple classes.
