BMW damaged in Leesburg - body shop recommendation?

We went out to eat in Leesburg and somehow my car has ended up with a large dent on the rear quarter panel.

Geico is pushing me to use Craftsmen of Sterling. Does anyone have experience with them, or recommendations?

Can't one of those window crack, ding and dent places fix that?

My hubby drove our bmw into the garage (door frame) they fixed the front bumper it looked amazing, also I think we have the same color silver titanium and I couldn't see any difference in paint color. AFWIW - Royal Auto Body is BMW of Sterling's recommended auto shop & a top rated from that our insurance (USAA) recommended as well.

Stay AWAY from Craftsman (especially the one off cardinal drive in leesburg) - my hubby also wrecked our SUV (twice) and they did a POOR job on the repairs you can see a huge difference in the paint.

 

Not sure, I have an appointment for Thursday that Geico set up.

Not sure if I want them to do the work. If I don't I have to have Geico schedule another appointment two weeks out at the same place...

 

We have Geico insurance as well and have always used Terry's Body Shop in Purcellville (which is not a Geico authorized body shop) and have always been pleased with the work that Terry's has done. They have an Enterprise Car Rental inside (which is authorized by Geico).

BMW of fairfax has a body shop. They did excellent work on my car.

 

I've used Craftsmen off Route 7 a number of times always with good results.

 

I have used Craftsman in Geico. Did an excellent job.

 

I used Craftsman in Leesburg for my BMW and they did a poor job.

Craftsmen seems to have mixed reviews (also on google maps) so I think I'll try Royal.

Called Sterling BMW tonight and they said they used Royal and Chantilly Auto Body.

I was flat out lied to by Craftsman Auto Body in Leesburg.

Geico asked me to take my car there (Geico was not my insurance, it was the other person's who hit my car) .

Craftsman wanted to repair a badly damaged bumper cover instead of replacing it. The cost to replace it was equal to their labor to repair it. When I objected, they agreed to a replacement.

When I received the work order they had changed back it back to a repair and told me that Geico rejected the estimate for a replacement. I contacted the Geico adjuster and she told me it was untrue. She came out to personally view the damage and the Geico adjuster herself told me a repair to the bumper cover would never look the same.

When confronted, Craftsman admitted they had not spoke with anyone at Geico and they were extremely rude and defensive.
